Wavelength

Monday 3 June – Friday 28 June

Artist: Fionnuala O’Neill

I am inspired by nature and my art is often inspired by my surroundings and memories. I want my audience to see the world through my eyes and therefore I focus on bringing the outside in. Through the use of colour, repetition, composition and pattern my aim is to capture the vibrancy of a seascape. I have a strong passion for printmaking. In this exhibition I want to explore my love for the ocean and waves using a number of different techniques. I want to evoke a sense of place that is less about geography and more about mood with my chief ambition to provide enough space for my viewer to make the seascape their own.
